Recently, I haven’t been feeling well and this tea was just what I needed as a pick me up. It has a sweet lemony taste and a fresh hot ginger tang that clears your mind and your sinuses. I particularly enjoyed having a warm lemon drink that didn’t have the acrid tang that so many Lemsip drinks do.
It’s tasty, relaxing and surprisingly good for you too. This tea is packed full of antioxidants! Both Lemongrass and ginger have been shown to reduce inflammation and ginger is also a natural appetite suppressor.
Mostly though, I drink it for the taste. I’d pair this tea with the book The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake by Aimee Bender. This choice is not only because of the lemon flavoured similarity but also because you can taste the passion of the team that blended this tea.
